Ishq Colombo Boutique-hotel

We started our Sri Lankan honeymoon with one night at Ishq, and only wish we'd stayed longer. It's a peaceful oasis in the city, beautifully designed and cared for. Our room was larger than our entire flat in London and very well appointed. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming, especially Asanga, who made us feel special even on such a short visit. We loved having sunset wine in the rooftop hot tub. Breakfast and dinner were both delicious, nicely presented, and tasty. If we're back in Colombo, we'll stay at Ishq again.

Our room was spacious, luxurious, and spotless, just like the rest of the stunning complex. There were beautiful lobbies to relax in, too. Darshan, our butler, made the stay perfect: friendly, helpful, and quick to arrange whatever we needed. The breakfast and food are highly recommended. Thanks for a wonderful stay. We'll definitely come back next time we're in Colombo.

I spent just one afternoon and night at Ishq Colombo before an early flight, and I wish I'd booked several nights instead of one. It's a peaceful, calming oasis, with care given to every detail. Wonderful Darshana made me feel at home even before I arrived, and you can feel the love and passion as soon as you walk into the beautiful space. It's one of my favourite boutique hotels. Ishq has only 4 beautifully designed rooms and suites, where many hotels would have squeezed in far more. The shared areas feel like an extension of the private spaces, with room for every guest to have their own oasis. The rooftop jacuzzi was an unexpected treat, and I wish I'd stayed long enough for a spa treatment. The food was delicious. I left at 3:45am and would've missed breakfast, but Darshana packed a beautifully presented takeaway breakfast for me. I can't recommend Ishq highly enough and look forward to returning. Thanks again!

The property is breathtaking. If love existed in a physical form of heaven, this would be part of it :) Danushka went above and beyond. He was attentive, sweet, and kind, and handled our requests as if we were the only guests. People like him are hard to find. Please do everything you can to keep him. He's one of the reasons we'll be back.
