Mahasen felt like a real home in Colombo, with a beautiful, relaxing space. Everyone there was so kind, generous and welcoming, and made sure I was comfortable throughout my stay. Thanks to the whole team for being amazing hosts.

The rooms are good value and the location is central. We especially liked the self-service kitchen and pretty rooftop area. The staff were friendly, helpful and laid back, accommodated our very late arrival, and let us bring our kitty. We had a great stay at Mahasen and look forward to coming back.

A quiet spot that's still close enough to Colombo's tourist areas. The staff were genuinely friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. Rooms were very comfortable, with big beds and hot showers, and there were nice places to lounge plus a roof terrace. Highly recommended.

The people in charge were really nice and friendly, and the rooms were clean and very comfortable. Hot water was great, and the artistic decorations made the place feel relaxing. I'd suggest putting out fresh soap for every new guest and keeping the waiting area cleaner, so taking off shoes at the entrance, as requested, isn't a bother.

The rooftop lounge was a lovely spot, and our room and the hotel setting felt wonderfully relaxing. We used the hotel as a base for getting around Colombo, and the location worked really well. The staff took care of everything we needed, with Sri Lankan hospitality at its best.
