The room and bathroom were spacious, though a bit dated and in need of some renovation. Breakfast was fine, with a decent selection, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. For the price and convenient location, it was good value and a comfortable stay, as long as you're not expecting luxury.

I loved the balcony sea view at Ocean Edge Suites & Hotel. It was stunning and a great place to relax with the ocean breeze. The rooms were spacious and clean, too. The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. I also really enjoyed the food, especially the seafood, and breakfast had a good variety. I'd highly recommend it if you're looking for a comfortable Colombo stay with a lovely ocean view and great hospitality.

I had to stay here because I couldn't find a suitable place within my budget, and most hotels were full at the time. This was a very disappointing hotel, with poor management and staff. My rating is 3 out of 10, and those points are for the air conditioning, room size, and location. The place never felt clean, and there were bad smells in the bathrooms, living room, and bedroom. The bathroom was the worst. When I asked for cleaning, it took more than two calls and over an hour before anyone came. They'd just flush the toilet, without cleaning anything else or even replacing the toilet paper. The balcony was dirty too. Don't trust the pictures on the website or booking apps, it looked nothing like them.

Waking up to the sea view from my window was a dream, and the spacious room made it easy to relax. I also loved the Indian food at Ocean edge Suites and hotel, every meal was a treat. The receptionist was warm, efficient, and always ready to help. I had a really enjoyable stay and would highly recommend it.
