Ranna 212 Hotel

We had delicious meals at the restaurant, with a mix of European and local dishes, and Mr Rashad was there to help sort out any questions. The staff were caring, welcoming, and real professionals. It's a small, cozy hotel near Ranna, with everything close by. The shore is huge, beautiful, and clean, more than just a beach. Such a lovely place to get away from city life, work, and all the bustle. I'd recommend it, and we'll miss you!

We stayed at the Ranna Hotel from 28.12.2025 to 04.01.2026, and really enjoyed both Sri Lanka and the hotel. We're grateful to all the staff, especially Dineth Ranasingha. He's the hotel's best employee and an honest person, and we're deeply thankful to him. From Baltabaeva Ziyada

The people made the stay for me. I've traveled half the world, and I can say Sri Lanka has wonderful people; the staff at Ranna212 Hotel are fantastic. The chef, restaurant manager, and team made me feel like a princess, and my lunches were works of art, both in taste and appearance. The salad dressings were phenomenal. I regretted not having time to drink them straight from the gravy boat. My room was on the first floor and had everything I needed: a comfy bed, clean sheets, hot water, a fridge, and more. Nothing bothered me, even though it's a simple hotel for undemanding guests. A mosquito net on the balcony door would be a useful addition. One thing outside the hotel's control was the overwhelming number of tourists from Russia and Ukraine. That doesn't bode well... I left only a few days ago and already miss the place.

A few things could be better: the restaurant menu needs more variety, good coffee was hard to find, and there weren't many loungers on the beach. Still, this is a quiet, comfortable hotel right by the ocean. The staff were friendly and always smiling, rooms were cleaned daily, and the reception team deserves a special mention for sorting out any questions. I'd recommend it to anyone after a peaceful stay.
