The ambience was pleasant, and it's on the main road just a few minutes from Dambulla caves. Rooms are okay and have the basic amenities, though there were no quilts or blankets. The food was good and arrived on time, but it's served from a fixed menu at the table, with no buffet. Complimentary Wi-Fi worked only in a limited area. There are better choices in Dambulla.

We stayed as a family in January 2026 and booked five rooms. The pool is large and nice, and the rooms by it were the best. The rooms at the back were darker and harder to reach, and weren't as nice. The beds were pretty hard and not comfortable enough. The staff service was very good, and they were polite and helpful when bringing the food. They made healthy meals really well, and it was nice to try local dishes for breakfast and dinner. Moi Dambulla is a good place to stay.

A lovely, comfortable place set right in nature, with kind people and helpful service. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Just watch the little monkeys, they like to steal food!

Eranda and the team gave us fantastic service, and the food was amazing, especially the Sri Lankan dishes. Our room was clean and spacious. We had some power interruptions during our stay, so I'd suggest the owners install a generator. They could also add pictures of the pool to the website. Yasas
