Hotel Tinaya

There are shops, restaurants and markets close by, and the hotel is in a really convenient spot. The garden and pool were clean and lovely for relaxing in the evening. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the polite staff were helpful whenever I needed something. The prices were very good, and it felt safe at night.

It felt surprisingly quiet and lovely, even though it's right in the middle of town. The uncle managing the place was so sweet and did his job well. Rooms were okay, though I really wished there had been a tea or coffee maker. I wanted to swim, but the pool didn't look very clean. Still a nice place. A little effort to make it more attractive could bring in more guests. Best wishes!

We had such a bad experience that we turned around and left without staying. The place wasn't clean, and although there's a spa inside, the entrance was very narrow with no room to park. They asked us to deposit 30,000 out of the total price of -50,000, then refused to refund it and argued with us. 0/10, definitely don't recommend, especially for kids.

The owner refused to return our advance after we arrived and found the place unsuitable because of hygiene and security concerns, and didn't accept responsibility. The online Google images posted by the owner were misleading. It was very unclean, right next to the main road, with an untidy garden, a pool that hadn't been cleaned, lots of mosquitoes and monkey poop everywhere. There's no gate, so anyone from the road can walk in. A non-standard spa opposite the bedrooms has its own entrance from the main road, and thieves could access the bedrooms through it. They said foreigners are their priority. It's sad to think how foreigners stay in such an unclean, unsecured place. Please check the real images we took.
