For the price, it was perfect. The bus stop is right outside, which made the location handy for exploring the cultural triangle. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful, and they have a tuktuk as well. We really enjoyed the breakfast and had a very nice stay.

We stayed two nights, and the owner was a fantastic host. The room was tidy and very clean, with a mosquito net. We skipped the AC since the weather there is cool and pleasant. I’d strongly recommend it to backpackers.

After two nights here, I’d had a really good rest. I chose a room upstairs on the second floor. It was new, and the sheets were clean. Even the curtains looked freshly washed. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the tidy bathroom had hot water and water at room temperature.

The staff sorted out bookings for us and took us on enjoyable trips outside Dambulla, including Lion Rock and Polonaruwa. They also stopped at other nice spots and good restaurants. Clean place, good breakfast, and very helpful staff. Highly recommend!

We were able to leave our backpacks after check-out, and they served us tea when we arrived. But the upstairs room was close to the road and dirty. There was used soap in the bathroom with someone’s hairs on it, the mosquito net was very dirty, and the fan was loud and didn’t work properly.
