We really enjoyed our two nights here. The family were so welcoming, and both breakfast and dinner were delightful. It's also easy to get to Dambulla caves and the Polonnaruwa ruins from here. The owner helped us decide what to do that day. Recommended.

After a rough day driving, we were exhausted, and the host made sure we felt comfortable and looked after. He was easygoing and friendly, and even at short notice he pointed us to interesting places and gave us great suggestions for food and drinks. The location is convenient for the city, with places nearby to sit back, relax and have a drink. I'd stay here again if I return to Dambulla. Excellent service, keep up the good work.

This was a bizarre experience. The owner canceled my booking, apparently after getting a better offer through another travel portal. I was left without any help. Be careful before booking here.

I booked seven days ahead, but when I arrived the owner said there was no booking in my name. I showed him the Booking Confirmation, Reference number and payment slips, and he still refused to let me stay. I was left stranded in a foreign country with no help. Pathetic service. Please avoid booking here.

The host and his family were great, and the place was clean. Tuk-tuk service is available too. The only serious drawback was the lack of mosquito nets. The Sri Lankan breakfast wasn't very good compared with others we had during our 22 days in SL.
