We planned to stay four days and ended up staying nine. The location is peaceful and just a 10 minute walk from the beach. Our private room had everything we needed: fresh sheets, towels, a mosquito net, and a clean bathroom. The shared kitchen, including its refrigerator, was a big plus, and we cooked there a lot. You can eat breakfast there or upstairs in the open area, which is also a nice place to relax. The hosts and maid were friendly and great. You can ask to have the room cleaned if needed. Definitely recommend!

We found the beds a bit too firm and woke up sore, though that's common with budget stays in Sri Lanka. The room was spacious and bright, with a small balcony, which was a nice extra for the price. The housekeeper was welcoming and friendly despite the language barrier, and the owners were friendly too. It's very handy for trendy restaurants and the beach, both just a few minutes away, and good value overall.

We stayed for nine days and loved the place. Abinu’s place had everything we needed, and the kitchen made a huge difference. The rooftop was another highlight, a great place to relax all day. Our host was warm and welcoming, and the maid did a great job keeping the whole place spotless. Thank you!

The hosts were really friendly and helpful, and there was a kitchen, a shared area to relax, and a rooftop. The room and bathroom were clean, and the bed linen was fresh. Just be aware that getting to the room means passing through the main house and living room. I enjoyed my stay.

On my first visit to Hiriketiya, Abinus place helped make the trip so nice. I stayed in the mixed dorm, where the AC was perfect and the beds were clean and well cared for. Housekeeping was on top of things every day, checking everything three times daily. Dineshka, who runs the place, was so welcoming and even gave me a glimpse of vysakh festival. I also loved having a kitchen where I could cook for myself, especially as a diabetic.
