A good stop in Halpe when travelling from Bandarawela towards Badulla. The owners are friendly and helpful, and there’s plenty of space to park a vehicle. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with a nice view of ella mountains and attached bathrooms with hot water.

The place was average, but the service was bad. We stayed two nights and were interrupted in the middle of the night once. We cooked our own meals, so they didn’t have much to do, yet they charged an extra service fee they hadn’t mentioned before we booked. We were on a tight budget. When we tried to negotiate the price, the owner tried to hit us. I have to give one star to post this, but the place doesn’t deserve even that. 0 out of 5, really hated it. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!!

They didn’t wash the bed linen. They left it in the sun and put it back on the bed. Errr, terrible. I caught them doing it, but they didn’t seem to care about this disgusting behavior. I just left without saying a word.

Excellent service ❤️, and the price is reasonable. The room was superb, with hot water, a clean washroom, a comfortable bed, a clothes rack, tables and chairs. Highly recommended 💯👌
