The staff were consistently kind and attentive, and they took our complaints seriously. Breakfast was very good too. We changed rooms three times in four days: the first had lots of cockroaches at night; the second, a hut lower down, had no water because the supply didn’t reach that level; and the deluxe hut we moved to was actually good, but would have cost considerably more. We paid $275 for four nights, by far the most expensive hotel of our trip, hoping to relax by the pool in a high-quality place in Ella. Instead, the experience was the opposite, and the photos and online reviews seemed greatly exaggerated, if not misleading. We asked for a partial refund to make things a bit better, but it wasn’t accepted. We can’t recommend the hotel, as the poor-quality rooms didn’t justify the price.

The views were breathtaking, and I loved staying here. The staff were friendly, the food was really good, and the trails, shops, and restaurants were within walking distance. The rooms have incredible views. Great view, quiet, and great value. Highly recommend.

The pool was a great size, not too cold, and well maintained, and we thought the rooms were lovely. The location and views are beautiful, and the food was amazing. The staff were so friendly and did everything they could to make our stay perfect. We also held an event at the hotel, and it all ran smoothly. We’d happily return and highly recommend staying here.

The mountain view over the pool was amazing. The rooms were really nice, with two queen-sized beds and attractive decorations. The shower was quite large and had a fancy head with about five different settings. We wanted a cottage, though, and that wasn’t available to us.
