The bathroom ceiling had mould and stayed damp, though it didn't bother us too much since we kept the door closed and only used it when needed. Some minor maintenance would make this feel like a five-star hotel. Still, the rooms were comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and we had fun playing a traditional game upstairs. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful enough to fuel the day. We chose it for the stunning views from the bedrooms and restaurant, and we were happy with that choice. There’s plenty to do nearby, including Little Adams Peak and the Nine Arches, only about 10 minutes away. I’d recommend it for the view alone.

We booked two rooms for two nights in December 2025 through Expedia, but I could tell as soon as we entered that it would be a bad experience. This is a basic guest house, not a hotel, and there’s no intercom in the rooms. Other than the beds, the furniture was two flat, broken beanbags and a small table. I had to take two stools from the balcony for our luggage. There are four staff managing the whole property. There’s no vegetarian food option, and the dining hall on the landing floor is open on all four sides, with no carpeting, marble, or tiles. Apart from the room view, I found nothing good about the property. I asked Expedia to cancel the second night and booked another hotel. I strongly urge Expedia not to list guest houses like this on its portal.

We only stopped in for a drink and to watch birds while taking in the stunning view. The staff kindly moved a screen so we could see the birds better, and the smoothies tasted good.

The view is unbelievable, and the property is well maintained. Staff were welcoming and very professional, making the whole stay feel seamless. Highly recommend for the hospitality and care they put into the details.
