The breakfast was a real highlight: there was plenty of variety, and when my friend said she didn't like omelettes, they happily made her something else. The staff were lovely. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with hot water, and the place was clean. It's up on the mountain, so finding a tuk-tuk to the center can sometimes be tricky, though you can walk there just fine. I'd gladly come back.

The rooms were big and lovely, with gorgeous mountain views. The two guys running the place were really sweet and helped us with whatever we needed. We ate great food, enjoyed the views, and had a good laugh. Such a cozy, nice place.

The service was very friendly, and the extra services were reasonably priced. They'd promised a free pickup from the railway station, but we were charged anyway. The menu was long, though most items weren't available, which seems common in Sri Lanka. Air conditioning had also been promised but wasn't there. You have to take these little things with humor in Asia. We enjoyed our stay anyway.

Sitting on the balcony to watch sunrise was lovely, with birds singing as the light appeared over the mountain. The place is on a hillside, quite far from Ella, but the view is the upside. The room was okay, the WiFi worked, and breakfast was nicely served. The hot shower could use some improvement.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the views were beautiful, especially at sunrise. We could see monkeys nearby too. The two guys running the hostel were friendly and attentive, always ready to help, and they offer transport into town. When I had a bit of a cold, one of them made me a herbal infusion. I really appreciated that thoughtful gesture.
