EKHO Ella - A Divine View of Ella Gap

The staff made a real effort to make our stay memorable, and Naveen and Priyantha deserve a mention for being so positive and engaged. Our room was spacious and very clean, the food was exceptional, and the location was great for town and walks. An absolutely fantastic place to stay.

After a bad experience at our previous place, our driver recommended this hotel, and we were so glad we followed his advice. We arrived without a booking just to ask about rooms, and the staff offered us a lovely room at a special price, showing it to us first. They even apologised for what we’d gone through, though it wasn’t their fault, then welcomed us with comforting, delicious soup and a flautist playing soothing music. We felt cared for like family throughout our stay. The team, especially Priyantha, Talshila Nisal and Neminda, went above and beyond. The breakfast was incredible, and the room details and sunrise view from the garden made everything feel perfect. This was the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. The welcome, meals, morning yoga classes and help with anything we needed all showed how generous and hospitable everyone was. The food was delicious, especially the fresh fruit and juices. The rooms and gardens were beautiful, and the view was incredible. It’s right in town, so it’s easy to walk around or take a tuk tuk to the hikes. We had an incredible five-star experience over two nights. I’d recommend booking directly to avoid extra platform fees. Thanks for a great stay!

The rooms were beautiful, with an amazing train theme, and the sunsets and sunrises made them even more lovely. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and I enjoyed every bite. The staff’s hospitality was outstanding, especially Pviyantna Tnakshina and Anthony. They made our stay unforgettable. I had a blast at Ekho Ella and won’t forget it.
