Ella Forest Bath

The room smelled bad and didn’t seem hygienic, and there were other problems with the place too. We ended up booking somewhere else. The photos were especially misleading: they showed a different villa nearby, run by someone else, though Forest Villa’s management claimed the properties were all managed together. I was very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend it.

We couldn’t sleep at all. A party downstairs meant loud music and people shouting right outside our rooms from 9:30pm until 5am. We’d booked two triple deluxe rooms for three nights and had to pay in advance. We’d never experienced anything like it, so we left even though we expected to lose the money. Thankfully, they refunded us for the two unused nights.

It was cheap, but with a little more money we could have stayed somewhere in much better condition. The beds were narrow and hard, set on concrete, the sheets looked dirty, and there was mold in the bathroom. It was also 2km from Ella’s center, despite Booking.com listing it as 800m, so we had to take a tuk-tuk. Some of the pictures didn’t match the place. If we’d known what it was like, we wouldn’t have booked.

What’s shown in the pictures and listed on Google and Booking doesn’t match the actual place.
