Green Village

We had a great three-night stay with two families. The top floor has the best view of ella, and the city is within walking distance. When it was pouring rain, the son drove us to the city centre by tuk tuk, just two minutes away, and wouldn’t take any money. The staff were suuuuupppper friendly, the rooms very clean, and they even rearranged the downstairs tables so our group could have breakfast together. They also did laundry. Would recommend.

We had a nice one-night stay and enjoyed the lovely scenery around Ella while on vacation. The staff were friendly and helpful. My ratings: environment 10/10, facilities 9/10, staff 10/10, food 9/10. 😍

The room had a lovely view, and the whole stay felt comfortable and homely. The hosts were warm and welcoming, always greeting us with a smile. Ella town is about a 10-minute walk away. One night, when it was quite late and we couldn’t find anywhere to order food, they kindly offered to take us into town in their tuk-tuk to pick up dinner. That meant a lot. We stayed two nights at Green Village Ella and had a really lovely time. I’d definitely recommend it.

Breakfast was delicious each morning, with a Sri Lankan style spread, and the service was even better than the spectacular views. The slope down to the accommodation is very steep, but they helped us get the TukTuk up and down it. The rooms are simple and had everything we needed. For the price, this place is a bargain and gives you well beyond what you pay for. It was perfect for our two nights in Ella. Definitely stay here if you’re visiting.
