Once you make it up the hill, the view from the room is good. But getting there is very difficult, especially if you want to go out and explore or have children with you. The photos make the stairs look like just 10 steps, but then there's a steep hill to climb. I had a child with me, and my tuk-tuk driver dropped us in the middle of the road. The host came all the way down only to tell me to cancel the booking, then went back up. No courtesy at all. It's not easily accessible to anything. If you're staying in your room all day, it might be a good place, but I wouldn't recommend it for anyone wanting to get around. This was my worst experience in all my stays in Srilanka. I didn't even stay, so I wouldn't give it one star.

The owners are super kind and sweet, and the breakfast is included. Every day it was something different and always fresh. The room looked new, was clean, and had a nice view. It was quiet, with hot water and a very clean bathroom. The internet was the best we've had since arriving in Sri Lanka. This is my second favorite place, and after nine nights I didn't want to leave. 100% recommended.

The hosts were very welcoming, and the place was clean. We got to enjoy a typical Sri Lankan breakfast throughout our stay, and they also offer transport and laundry services. It was worth the price. Book here next time you're in Ella ♥️.

We had a peaceful rest, incredible sunsets, a comfortable room and a good breakfast. This is an authentic stay with a very kind hosting family, and their simple way of life still gives you everything you need. They offer tuk-tuk services, and the location is 4 km from busy Ella, with other natural places of interest easy to reach. I especially recommend dinner cooked by the Mom.

Breakfast was great, though the laundry was too expensive at 3000rs for two bags. The owners are lovely, if a bit chaotic. The guesthouse has an unbelievably beautiful view over the Hillstation, where you can see tea fields, waterfalls, and the train passing over nearby bridges a few times a day.
