There are trees all around the place and a forest behind it, even though it's close to the road. We saw toucans, small squirrels, a grizzly giant squirrel, and lots of other birds. It's a lovely spot a little further from the centre, but all the main places, including the start of Adam's Peak and Nine Arch Bridge, are still a 10-15 minute walk away. The owner lady was very nice, helpful, and always smiling. She accommodated all our requests, including a very early breakfast and even dinner. Her coffee and tea with spices were pure joy! The rooms were clean, with a working small fridge to chill water or another drink, and hot water in the shower. The big balcony was perfect for relaxing, just remember mosquito repellent. My favourite stay in Sri Lanka.

The rooms are spacious and airy, with large balconies, and the building is surrounded by trees and plants. This is a homestay, and the complimentary breakfast is home-cooked and very tasty. The two drawbacks are the narrow stairs and limited parking.

The family looked after us so well, with delicious breakfasts, helpful directions for getting to the mountains, and very good English. They were kind and welcoming, and we really enjoyed our stay. We got a lovely, clean, spacious room with a big bed, hot shower, and large front balcony overlooking the town and sunset. Just perfect! We spent a few days in Ella to visit Ella Rock and Little Adam’s Peak, and went to Nine Arches Bridge the day before as an extra. We were lucky to choose this guesthouse, which is close to everything. We warmly recommend it! Robert & Bernarda❤️

It's a very relaxing place about a 25-minute walk from the busier downtown, though just five minutes from the Little Adam’s Peak trail and 9arch bridge. Tuktuk are easy to find, too. Stairs lead up to the building. It suited couples and families, and also solo travellers looking for a quiet space. The host gave us a great welcome!

The included breakfast was excellent, with fresh roti, dahl curry, fruit, and excellent coffee. The clean, comfortable rooms have spacious balconies where you can enjoy the view. Samadhi Nature Resort is set back from the main road among spice trees, fruit trees, and flowers that attract lots of birds. Nine Arches bridge and Little Adams Peak are a short walk away, and there are good restaurants nearby. I'd definitely stay again.
