Mount Breeze Homestay

We didn't sleep at all while we were here. Dogs barked all night, and the room fan had no adjustable settings, so it blasted loudly as it rotated. We could also clearly hear the fans in the rooms next to ours. Breakfast was average compared with other places we've stayed. We were on the bottom floor, where the rooms felt very outdated and cramped. The bathroom was unpleasant, old, and rusty. The room was extremely damp, so our towels never dried, and there was barely anywhere to put bags or clothes, making it feel even more cramped. From other reviews, the top rooms sound like they may be better, so I'd suggest booking one of those if you stay. Otherwise, I'd go somewhere closer to town. This was a very budget room, but the price wasn't actually that low. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend Mount Breeze.

The room was fantastic, and breakfast was plentiful. The ladies were so friendly. It's not far from town, Little adam’s peak, or nine arches.

The family at this homestay were so lovely and helpful with arranging tuk tuks. They brought us a lime papaya drink midway through our stay and let us check out later for free since nobody else was staying afterward. Breakfast was great. There's also a gorgeous little dog, very friendly and adorable, though they'll keep it away if you want. Our room had a strong fan and mosquito nets with no holes. The place was clean and quiet, but still very central.

The hosts were incredibly welcoming and kind, and the hotel has a great laundry service and an amazing breakfast. It's five minutes from Ella's center, with dozens of great sights and places nearby. The beds were comfortable, and the room stayed cool without AC as long as we kept the window open. I recommend this place to everyone.
