I loved how clean, roomy, and comfortable the house was, and the host’s kindness made me feel genuinely welcome and looked after. This was my first stop in Sri Lanka, and it turned out far better than I expected. There are also some great places to eat just 2-3 minutes away. I’d happily stay here again if I return.

The owner was so kind and gracious, and the whole place felt homey. Our room was spotless. We stayed one night at ruth villa, and it was the best stay of my trip. I’d love to come back, it gets a solid 100/100 from me.

The family running this cozy homestay were always smiling and quick to help. They even kept our luggage for a long time while we traveled around Sri Lanka. The location is great too. Totally recommend it!

I ended up here after spending my first night in a really noisy place, and the peace and quiet was such a relief. The rooms were lovely and very clean, and the woman at reception was kind and made me feel comfortable. I loved staying here and would definitely return.

A really pleasant stay, with a spacious, lovely room and a welcoming hostess. It felt like great value, and the cozy place is in a good spot, within walking distance of Negombo beach. 😍
