We first booked five nights at rock side inn Ella, then stayed for seven in total because we had such a good time. The team made us feel at home right away, with their warm, welcoming manner. On our first day they gave us lots of useful advice about the area and helped plan our itinerary. We enjoyed getting to know everyone and playing carrom together. We arrived as strangers and left as friends. Our room was spacious and extremely clean, with a comfortable bed and a big balcony we hadn't expected. The view from the room and restaurant was breathtaking, and watching sunset from our balcony was a treat. The breakfasts were enormous and delicious, and dinner was top rate. The best Kottu we had in Sri Lanka came from the Rock Side Inn Ella restaurant. Thanks to the team for making our stay so special. We'll certainly be back.

The staff were so welcoming, and helped me plan my itinerary day by day. I also loved the delicious breakfast and the stunning views from both the restaurant and balcony. My room was clean and comfy. I stayed a few nights and really enjoyed it. Highly recommend!

The staff were amazing and so welcoming, and they went the extra mile by giving us breakfast to take along when we checked out at 6 AM. Our two nights here were wonderful. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. To me, this hotel is no less than any 5 star Hotel. Well worth a stay.

We enjoyed the breakfasts and one evening had a great curry made by their chef. The staff looked after us well, and our room had a great view over Ella. The only issue was how thin the walls are, you can hear everything.

The beautiful views and peaceful surroundings gave the place a calm, refreshing feel. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come again. The rooms were comfortable, very clean, and well maintained, and the food was delicious, freshly made and full of flavor. Above all, the staff were friendly and helpful and made us feel right at home. Highly recommended for a memorable, relaxing getaway!
