Super View

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the lunch was delicious, with fresh fruit and a variety of Sri Lankan dishes. The room was good, clean, and comfortable, with a breathtaking view of the mountains and a waterfall in the distance. Super View is only a short walk from Ella’s center, while still feeling quiet and peaceful. For the price, we felt it was very good value. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting an affordable, comfortable stay with stunning views.

We miss this homestay already and strongly recommend it. Renuka and his family were warm and kind, and made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast came right to the table outside our room, so we could eat while enjoying the view. The panorama from our room was so beautiful we couldn’t stop looking at it. Ella’s center is about a 10-minute walk away. Tuk-tuks are easy to find, or you can ask Ranuka to take you there.

The view was outstanding, with the top of Ella Rock visible and monkeys coming by. The rooms were clean and unpretentious, and our family enjoyed staying with friendly Renuka and his lovely wife. It’s just outside Ella, around a 5-10 minute tuk-tuk ride costing 400rs-600rs. We wouldn’t walk it, though I know some people might.

The rooms were spotless, despite some reviews mentioning mold in the bathroom. Renuka is a fantastic host: you ask, and he makes it happen, all for more than reasonable prices. We’ve stayed in worse hotels that cost over 50% more. It’s a great little hotel for seeing Ella’s sights, and I highly recommend it. If a few steps on a staircase put you off, the mountains probably aren’t for you in the first place.
