Wonder Mount Resort

We loved the firm, clean bed, and Dinesh and his assistant were both kind and very accommodating. I left my iPad behind by mistake, and he did his best to send it on to my next hotel in Colombo. The balcony has a beautiful view, and having breakfast on the rooftop was a great idea. Our travel agent organized the trip for us. Thank you, Dinesh.

The view from the hotel was very good, and I’m grateful to the owner of Heta for the time they spent with us. The owner was especially warm and personable, and they even met us at the railway station. Still, the hotel is 6 km from Ella, which was difficult for my wife and me, so we couldn’t stay there. It seems like a great place to relax.

I felt very safe here as a solo woman traveler, and the place was so peaceful. After my daily Ayurvedic treatments with a nearby doctor, it was lovely to return to a quiet room. I stayed for eight days, and my room was spacious, clean, and had a balcony overlooking the mountains. Dinesh was kind and lovely, and the staff paid close attention to what I needed and went out of their way to make sure I was happy. The rooftop was a nice spot to relax or do art, and the hot water and water pressure were fantastic. Thanks so much for looking after me. I loved my stay. xx

Mr. Dinesh was kind enough to arrange Calypso Special Train tickets for us, which we really appreciated. The building is new, and the clean, comfortable rooms have attached bathrooms. From the balcony, you get an awesome view of the area around you. It’s a great base close to Ella’s top rated visiting points. Highly recommend this place.
