Zion View Ella Green Retreat

Breakfast was included and had plenty of choices, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and ready to help with whatever we needed. The hotel restaurant had good options and really good food. Our room was beautiful, spacious, clean, and had an amazing view, and the pool area was lovely with towels provided. I couldn’t fault the stay from beginning to end. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely come back if I return to Ella.

We liked it so much that we added another night because leaving was too hard. The location is central but still very quiet, and we enjoyed the yoga studio and classes. Our room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and the massage service was excellent. The staff were caring, friendly, and incredibly helpful. The food was amazing, especially the breakfast buffet. I still miss the egg hoppers, the best I had during our whole month traveling around Sri Lanka. We’d love to return to Zion View Hotel someday. It really was a great stay.

The staff and tea members were super friendly and took care of all our needs. We had a problem with the hot water, but they kindly offered a refund without us even asking. The food was good, though there weren’t many choices, especially for vegetarians. The rooms were decent, with an excellent view of Ella rock, and the location was perfect for a relaxing stay. We didn’t try the pool because the weather was a bit cold. The yoga room was convenient for sadhana practices, and overall it was great value for money.

It felt like a home away from home. The food was delicious, the room was lovely and extremely clean, and the service and hospitality were exceptional. The staff were so warm, including a very talented yoga instructor. The hotel also helped arrange activities and transport without adding a surcharge. We loved our stay here! 🫶
