The rooms are quite small, and for the price, they don't feel like good value. The location is excellent, inside Galle Fort and easy to get around from. Although the property says it has parking, they arrange it in a nearby public area and charge for it at the end of the stay. That public parking doesn't feel very secure, as it's usually crowded with both tourists and locals.

We didn't end up staying here. The doors and windows had holes, so mosquitoes could get in, and the rooms looked less nice than the photos. A towel had been used to block some of the holes, and someone was sleeping across the way on a bed in the hallway. The service was fabulous, though. The owner was very kind and let us cancel without a charge.

DO NOT STAY HERE. This place was a disaster and felt completely unsafe. The room reeked, and breakfast wasn't served until 9:30 AM. When we complained, staff made racist and abusive remarks, telling us we were “in their country.” It was deeply offensive and completely unacceptable. Management locked the main gate from the outside, effectively trapping guests inside. That was extremely dangerous and irresponsible. The place was dirty and badly managed, nothing like the staged photos online. The people running it showed no basic hospitality, common sense, or accountability. Avoid at all costs unless you want your stay completely ruined.

I checked out early because comments about my country made me feel unsafe. The rooms also smelled bad and were extremely small. Breakfast wasn't available until 9:30 am, so don't count on getting it earlier.

My friend came here for a foot massage, while I browsed the things for sale in the shop. There's a massage place upstairs. It's easy to find, just a short walk from the lighthouse. I'm reviewing the shop area, not the accommodation.
