Arken Lanka Hotel, Galle was clean, comfortable and well maintained, with a calm, relaxing feel. The rooms were spacious and tidy, and it felt like good value. Staff were extremely friendly, helpful and ready to assist with anything we needed. The location is convenient for exploring Galle and nearby attractions. We had a wonderful stay, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Galle.

The breakfast was delicious and more than I expected, and the price was very reasonable. It's close to Galle city, but the place itself feels calm and relaxing. Highly recommended.

There was meant to be a TV in our room, but only the mounting bracket was there. That didn't bother me, though it could be a deal breaker for someone else. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the design and furnishings are quite good for the price. Just be aware the actual property is older than it appears in the photos, which is a bit misleading. Parking is limited and a little tricky in the provided space. Our room's AC made a weird, mildly annoying noise and didn't seem strong enough for such a huge room. After it had been running a while, it was okay. For the price, I still think it's pretty good value.

The bathroom was the worst part: the toilet was broken, there was no toilet paper, and it smelled awful. The room itself was tiny, barely enough space to move around, and the furniture was worn out and in need of a complete repair. We paid around $15 per day. Breakfast was included, so I was looking forward to something warm, but nobody offered us anything. I tried calling, and the numbers were switched off. I also messaged on Booking.com and WhatsApp and got no reply. After staying at several hotels in Sri Lanka, I can say this was the worst one I’ve ever been to. I was extremely disappointed. Management, please treat your guests with respect. I’d tell people not to stay here.
