We wanted a calm break from our busy, scheduled life, somewhere peaceful in nature without city noise but not too far away by car. Hotel Ranthil was just right. It’s near Galle town and the beach, surrounded by trees, and the drive in passes through paddy fields. The whole place was calm and absolutely clean, and our one-week holiday felt like paradise. We loved the warm Sri Lankan welcome from Hotel Ranthil and its amazing staff. Breakfast was different and amazing every day, and we had lunch and dinner there too. Watching the sun come up by the pool with a glass of champagne was wonderful. Thanks so much for the hospitality. We hope to stay there again.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable, with a big swimming pool right by the house. There’s jungle all around, with monkeys and other animals. I booked for a week, and two things disappointed me: the internet quality and the location. I worked, so fast internet mattered a lot, and Una beach is far away. Tuk Tuks are expensive for that distance. It’s fine if you have a bike, but without one it’s a problem.
