The Fort House rescued us when we ran into trouble with the hotel we'd booked before. We stayed for two nights in a beautiful room with a lovely bathroom, and the breakfast was delicious. It's a wonderful little boutique hotel right in the centre of Galle Fort, and the lovely staff were professional throughout. Thanks to everyone for a great stay.

The staff made us feel welcome straight away. They were friendly, attentive, and always helpful, with great tips and recommendations whenever we needed them. Our room was spotless and well maintained, and the beds were so comfortable we slept well every night. The Fort House is right in the centre of Galle Fort, close to cafés, restaurants, shops, and sights you can explore on foot, yet still calm enough to relax. We'd happily stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting Galle.

The Fort House is right in the middle of everything in Galle, yet inside it was surprisingly quiet and peaceful. It made a perfect base for exploring. We slept really well in the lovely room, thanks to the comfortable bed. Breakfast was a highlight every morning, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome throughout. Highly recommended!

Madushanka deserves a special thank you for looking after us. The staff were lovely and helpful, the breakfast was delicious, and the location made getting around really convenient. We had a wonderful time at The Fort House. Thanks for the Sri Lankan hospitality, and I'd highly recommend staying here :)

I was glad I chose The Fort House, and I'd recommend it to anyone staying in Galle Fort. The breakfast was fantastic, with fruit, traditional Sri Lankan dishes, and Western options. Staff were friendly and helpful, and offered great service without hovering. My room had a private courtyard off to the side, a modern bathroom with a powerful shower, comfortable bed and bedding, and enough storage for a longer stay. There was air conditioning, though I found the fan more than enough. The hotel has a quaint feel and keeps many colonial features. Even in the heart of the fort, it was well insulated from outside noise, and I barely noticed the other guests. Excellent value for money.
