The pool was a great place to unwind after a long day on the bike, especially with the swim-up bar. The views are stunning, and the whole property feels calm, spacious, and well cared for. The food was varied and consistently good, too. We’ve been travelling around Sri Lanka on the Sri Lankan Airlines Gravel Tour and have stayed at some incredible hotels, but this may be the best one. Kanishka looked after our room so thoughtfully and kindly, and you could tell he takes pride in his work. Since we’re here on our honeymoon, the team also went out of their way to make things feel special. Sri Lanka has been amazing, and we’d happily return to this hotel.

The day turned out just as we’d hoped, and we were so happy with it. Everything was arranged smoothly, the staff were friendly and professional, and the atmosphere made our wedding feel even more memorable. A great choice for anyone planning a wedding.

Even with the hotel full, it never felt crowded, thanks to the way the grounds are laid out. There’s a large pool with both shady and sunny areas, plus a fun-looking space for kids. It’s also a paradise for bird watchers. The setting is peaceful and relaxing, and all the staff were helpful and accommodating, especially Manjula. I’d definitely recommend it.

The fine dining restaurant left us disappointed. The food was very average for the extremely high prices, and the service felt unprofessional. When we turned down desserts or cocktails, we got strange looks. We were the only guests, and there was no background music. After we asked for some, they put on loud party music, which didn’t suit a fine dining setting. I wouldn’t recommend eating there. The excursion to Yala National Park was also a very unpleasant experience. The hotel itself is beautiful, with an impressive pool, a gym, and friendly, welcoming reception staff.
