The staff were warm and helpful, and the hotel sits in a pretty, quiet spot outside town. Getting a ride into town was a little difficult.

The room was clean and the dining area was wonderful. Everyone on the staff was so friendly, and the landscape and location were spectacular. I had a great time here and would definitely recommend the resort.

The villa is lovely, set among greenery on a hill, and we woke to fresh air. Our room was spacious and clean, with a working air conditioner, quilts, and fresh towels. The shower ran a little slowly, though the water was hot. Staff carried our luggage up the stairs, and breakfast was lovely, with fresh toast, butter, jam, and coffee.

After a big storm, I was looking for something small to eat at 10:30 pm and spotted some lights when everything else seemed closed. That turned out to be lucky: the mixed vegetable curry and dhal with papadam were the best I'd ever had. The food tasted freshly made, with lots of flavor, color, and texture. The service was thoughtful and full of smiles, and the setting was calm. I'll come back to try more of the menu. Do yourself a favor and taste the Sri Lankan food and hospitality here. Many thanks :)
