Villa Nuova sea View

The hosts made me feel safe and were so helpful and friendly. They brought tea each morning and even lent me an umbrella when it rained. I stayed for two days, and the room was comfortable and clean, just right for a peaceful break. From my room I could see the ocean, tall palm trees moving in the breeze, and hear the waves. It felt like a tropical escape. The location is handy, near Galle Railway Station and right across from Keells Galle. If you enjoy the sea and fresh air, I’d recommend giving Villa Sea View a try.

The morning view from the balcony was lovely, and our host helped us find a rental bike and shared useful information about nearby attractions. We appreciated the late check-in and the upgrade to a sea-view AC room at the regular rate. The room was small but very clean, with a comfortable bed and a fine bathroom. At first, the room-freshener smell was intense, but it eased once we opened the balcony doors. We didn’t try the on-site food. When we ordered two teas, I would’ve appreciated help carrying them up to our second-floor room, and I was surprised each cup cost 450 LKR, so ask about that before ordering. It was a pleasant stay with a helpful host and great view, but watch for extra charges.

The seafood was especially good, fresh and full of flavour, and the prices felt reasonable for the quality. Our rooms were comfortable and well kept, with a stunning ocean view that made waking up feel peaceful and refreshing. The facilities were excellent, and the calm atmosphere suited a short getaway. The owner and staff looked after us warmly and made sure we had what we needed. One of my best experiences in Sri Lanka. I’d happily recommend Villa Sea View to locals and visitors looking for a relaxing stay, good food, and a beautiful view.

The room and bathroom were very clean, and the staff were welcoming and kind. From the garden, the sea view created a really calming atmosphere. The hotel is small but charming, and I had a pleasant stay in Galle. A few basics were missing from the room, including a kettle, hangers, and teacups, and I had to ask separately for towels. My non-AC room had a fan, but even on its lowest setting it was strong enough to keep shifting the bedsheet at night, which made sleeping less comfortable. Still, I enjoyed my stay and found it a lovely place to relax.
