Breakfast was delicious each morning, and the staff presented it beautifully. The garden is lovely and peaceful, a nice place to relax before or after trips into Galle fort. Our room was spacious, well equipped, and beautifully decorated. The other junior staff were wonderful, but service from the female Hotel front of house Manager was frustrating. Communication was poor, and she didn’t seem to manage the internal team or onsite contractors well. We had to ask three or more times for basic things like towels and body wash, and other straightforward requests weren’t handled. There was also major painting work going on during our stay. Wet paint on walls had no warnings, drips covered the floor, and paint got on our shoes and belongings from the furnishings and stairs. It was upsetting to see paint splattered on the plants and trees, the beautiful wood panelling and stairs being ruined, and paint being dropped into the fish pond. There are many positives here, but the owners need to improve senior staff’s management and guest experience skills before I could recommend the hotel.

It’s about 1 km from Galle Fort, but the villa feels wonderfully quiet once you’re inside, far from the bustle. Our room was huge and comfortable, and everyone on staff was friendly and welcoming. We booked an extra night at the very last moment during our honeymoon. The team still had our room ready when we arrived. There wasn’t time to decorate, so they surprised us with a complimentary full-body couples massage at their inhouse spa. It was so relaxing and just what we needed. We loved the peaceful feel and had a wonderful stay. At the moment, they only serve breakfast. We’d definitely recommend it for a quiet, relaxing getaway in Galle.

The location is a little out of town, but a tuktuk to the fort or any of the other beaches is very cheap. We stayed in a deluxe room and it was worth it. The rooms are huge and tastefully done, and the pool was really nice. Breakfast was amazing, and the staff were so lovely, kind, and attentive. Couldn’t fault the place!

We spent Christmas Eve here, and the meal they prepared was the best and most original one we had on our holiday. The pool is big and comfortable, and the spa is very good too. This was easily the best boutique hotel of our Sri Lanka trip. The rooms are wide and very clean, everything feels brand new, and they’ve thought about the details. The staff are smiley and doing their best, even though there’s room for improvement. A real haven in the heart of Galle. Amazing hotel!

That massage deserves a special mention, it was one of the best I’ve ever had. The pool was lovely for relaxing, and the staff were kind, friendly, and always ready to help. The hotel feels warm and welcoming, with spacious rooms that were spotlessly clean. Truly wonderful, highly recommended.
