The owner’s personal, high-quality service really stood out. We stayed as a family recently and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Even with the country’s current situation, it felt secure for a private stay, and the beach was isolated. Highly recommend it, keep it up.

The host made the stay especially comfortable. Shane Peiris was attentive and friendly, and answered my questions and requests quickly, even while I was booking. Nothing seemed too much trouble. I stayed at Mich's Beach Villa in Maggona on this Sri Lanka visit. It isn't a luxury villa, but it has three bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, and a kitchen if you want to cook for yourself. Outside, there’s a cute bar in a green oasis, plus a small private beach area with huts beside the sea. It’s a comfortable, affordable option that can leave you more to spend on your trip. You can book the whole villa as a group, too. 🌊🌴 #Maggona #backpackers #mebeachvilla #srilankatravel #backpackersbyme
