I loved every moment here. The place was spacious, quiet, and well maintained, and the food was delicious with lots of variety. The staff were exceptionally good, and the surf guides were helpful, attentive, and fun during the waits between sets. Best surf camp I’ve been to, and I’ve seen plenty. 5/5

the location is perfect, with a beautiful deserted beach just a five-minute walk away. i had the best time at the jungalows. i feel like my surfing improved a lot, and jacob’s amazing daily yoga sessions got me into yoga too. everyone on staff was so nice and helpful all the time, shout-out to Gabriel. the food is incredibly good. i’ll definitely be back!

I spent 10 nights in one of the beautiful cabanas and had such a good time. Everything was so well organized, with two surf sessions a day in groups matched to your level. We tried different spots, including some completely empty ones where it was just us in the water. The instructors were all great. Joe and Sithu helped me make progress, and Shaun introduced me to longboarding in private sessions. Thanks! Jacob’s yoga was great too, and compared with other surf camps, it was also geared toward more experienced yogis. And the staff deserve a mention as well. Thanks to Gabriel and everyone else for the great service and delicious food. I hope I’ll be back.

The Jungalows were so lovely that I extended my stay and am already planning to return. The accommodation is beautiful, the food incredible, and the staff are the nicest. It’s right beside a beautiful deserted beach lined with palms, and an easy tuk tuk ride gets you to hiriketiya and dikwella. Such an epic experience: a great surf camp with good instructors, guides, equipment, and yoga lessons.

I loved my two weeks at Jungalow. The camp is gorgeous, tucked into the jungle, and the wooden accommodation was clean and comfortable. The food was delicious too, and the chef is very talented. Carlo was kind and knows a lot about surfing. We surfed early in the morning and again for the sunset session, visiting some great spots. I made a lot of progress: I took my first steps crossing on a longboard and surfed a shorter board in bigger waves. Jungalow is a little piece of paradise in the south of Sri Lanka. I’d highly recommend it if you’re visiting Sri Lanka and want to improve your surfing. See you soon!
