Aruna and the staff made this stay especially memorable. They were always around when we needed something, and happy to help with scooter rentals and local tips. Breakfast was a highlight too, with fresh juice, toast, fruit, Sri Lankan-style eggs, and one morning a Sri Lankan breakfast as a treat. We stayed three nights in February and slept really well. The modern, open rooms had strong AC, good hot showers, and balconies looking out to the ocean. The hotel sits right on the beach, which was lovely for morning and evening walks. We even spotted turtles there. The pool was nice, and the grounds felt secluded. Everything in the room worked well for us.

We’ve stayed at Beishu four times, and each visit has made us want to return again. Most recently, we came in 2023 with our second son. Before that, we’d been as a couple, with friends, and later with our first son and friends. The staff are so friendly and unobtrusive that you get a real sense of privacy. The rooms are clean and nice, the pool is great for lounging (especially around 4 pm), and breakfast has tasty eggs, toast, fresh fruit, and your choice of juice. They even made pancakes for the kids. The balcony views over the ocean are mesmerizing, with the waves always audible in the background. It’s a wonderful place to calm down and forget the busy city. The setting is right by a somewhat private beach, and the property is close enough to other restaurants and places to visit. Highly recommend it.
