Jungle Breeze

Jungle Breeze won me over the moment I arrived 😍 It’s tucked away from the hassle of the main road, peaceful and secluded, but still close to the beaches of Ahangama. I stayed in the boathouse on the water, surrounded by nature and its sounds. It was comfortable and had a great atmosphere. The design is thoughtful, with natural materials, and the whole place feels honest and easy to be in. I loved sitting on the deck eating some ramboetans, or watching the moon reflect on the lake. It feels like a place made for a perfect day, as in the Lou Reed song 🎶. Sometimes you just fall for a place without knowing exactly why. I know I’ll find my way back. See you later, alligatorrrrr. And no, I didn’t see any alligators or crocodiles in the lake, but there’s a nice bird who keeps you company every day ☺️

Waking up for sunrise is a must here. Watching the lake come alive was truly magical, and I had the best time on this beautiful floating boat.

A dream of a place, just beautiful. The attentive service put me completely at ease, and the rooms were clean and very well equipped. I’ll definitely be back.
