The staff were incredibly friendly and fun to spend time with. They arranged a massage and cooking class for us that afternoon, then set up a safari and village tour for the next morning. Everyone played with my two year old daughter, and she loved the place too. I only had one day left in my Sri Lanka holiday before heading home, and I’m glad I spent it here. It’s tucked away from the main road on a large, well-kept property with a modern, fun design. We highly recommend it.

We’d gladly choose this place again when we come back to Habarana. The calm setting, comfortable rooms and cabanas, friendly staff, and great service made it a good stay. The meals were delicious and it was good value for money. My family and I highly recommend it. ⭐️❤️👌

It’s tucked away from the main road, almost in the jungle, and so peaceful and quiet. The staff are lovely people and cook delicious meals. We loved our stay! The beds were the most comfortable I’ve found in SL. As an American, I find the hard-bed trend in Asia a little strange 🤣. Bring cash since they don’t take cards. There’s an ATM 1/2 KM away.

The owner cooks the food by hand, and it’s extremely good. There’s a beautiful porch at the main building too, a nice place to eat and sit together in the evening. The owner and staff speak English well and help however they can, whether that means a ride to the station or organizing day trips. Feel free to ask them anything. There are two room types. The pricier ones are bungalows with a private porch and a fairly fancy outdoor shower. Cheaper rooms are in the main building. We got a free upgrade for our third night, but I actually preferred the cheaper room. Both types are modern and very clean, and all rooms have AC and a television. I’m sure I’ve missed plenty I could mention, but I unconditionally recommend Rimaka Village.

The meals were great, and they arranged a jeep safari to Kaudulla National Park that we really enjoyed. We loved staying here and would happily come back.
