I stayed five nights at Nil Ralla. The villa was nice, the views were great and the staff were helpful, but somehow $300 went “missing” from my safe. I couldn't understand how cash could disappear from a locked safe. It turned out the safe key was in the manager's cabin at the villa. Stay away if you want to protect your money.

The peaceful, quiet setting and beach access made this a great stay for us two girls in the sea-view queen room. It's very close to the natural sea pool, and felt safe for girls or solo travelers. Staff were welcoming and friendly, and the Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious. It would suit a family holiday or a get-together with friends too. I'd choose this place again. ❤️

Privacy was what we loved most. It felt like having our own little place away from the crowds, and it seems ideal for a family getaway. The beachside villa was spotless and beautifully cared for, with everything adding to a comfortable, relaxing stay. Waking up to the waves and that endless ocean view was breathtaking. We ordered Sri Lankan meals, and they were full of flavor. We can't wait to come back.

The room itself has mesmerizing views of the beach, and the villa is beautiful. The hosts are helpful and cooperative, and you can arrange almost anything just by asking them.
