The pool is incredible and the place is really peaceful, but one star is generous. Don't get breakfast prepared for you if you like hot, properly cooked eggs. Ours were cold and undercooked, and the Sri Lankan breakfasts arrived in little plastic bags and were served lukewarm. I also wouldn't accept the host's offer of his brother's tuk-tuk service. He charges a fortune, takes you places you didn't ask to visit, and if you buy anything, he gets a huge cut that you end up paying for. Do NOT let him take you to the Spice Market in Galle. Those problems pale in comparison to a more serious incident, which is in the hands of the police and that I can't discuss. Fellow travelers, for your safety and your family's, don't go here.
