Arahtis was a lovely place to slow down and enjoy nature. The lakeside villa has a calm, relaxing atmosphere, and the staff were extremely friendly and always willing to help. I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it.
A quiet, secure, and well-kept villa with a lovely waterfront design. It's close to the famous Hikka beach and not too far from Colombo, making it a good fit if you want a peaceful place with a view. The staff were super friendly.

We'd definitely like to return to Arahtis. It's a homely villa, a good choice for a quiet, peaceful holiday, and Tamara was a great host. Our room was spacious and nicely decorated, and the lake looked lovely from the balcony, especially at sunrise.
We only stayed a day, so the TV not working wasn't a big deal, but it was the one problem. Otherwise, it was a lovely little villa: clean, safe, with friendly staff and decent food. It's a bit inland, so you may need a vehicle to get to town and back.
