Athithi Villa

Everything was provided for our homestay, and we really enjoyed it. The place was very clean and spacious, the staff were friendly, and it was close to the beach.

We booked Athithi villa for one night with family, but it felt like we’d stayed a whole week. It’s quiet, well maintained, very clean and tidy, and everything is organized and comfortable, like staying at home. It isn’t a luxury or 7-star hotel, but we didn’t feel anything was missing. The little pantry in the room was useful for cooking our own food and helped keep things budget friendly. The railway is very close, but it wasn’t a disturbance. Mr Indika, the owner, was so helpful and made everyone feel comfortable. The washrooms and bedding were completely clean and comfy. The Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious and more than worth what we paid. Mr Indika never restricted us and gave us lots of support for our BBQ party. The pool was so relaxing and clean, we didn’t want to get out. It’s a perfect place for a family or friends gathering. Millions of thanks to Mr Indika for such memorable hospitality, and all the best!

There were 16 of us, friends and family including children, and we had a memorable week at the villa. Our flight was delayed so we arrived very late, but owner and manager Lalith welcomed us and settled us in politely and professionally. The accommodation was neat, spacious, and had all the amenities. The pool was a decent size and very well looked after. The beach and restaurant were just a short walk across the road. Service at the villa was outstanding, especially Lalith, who was always available to help and advise. We’d love to return and highly recommend it.

I spent three nights at this guesthouse at the start of the year, and the room was one of the best I had during six weeks of travel in Sri Lanka. It was very clean and well equipped, with a nice kitchen inside. The train noise was also very low because the tracks are far enough away. I’ll come back. Thanks, my friend! 🇱🇰🇩🇪❤️
