The only thing that concerned me was the 11 pm hotel lock-up. If you come back later, you have to call an employee to let you in. They do get up and open the door, but aren’t very happy about being woken, and mention that they have to rise early next morning :D Otherwise, the room was clean and spacious, with a nice bathtub and a comfortable bed. The fan and AC worked, and the pool was clean. It’s near the beach and main street. I didn’t try the restaurant, but it didn’t seem to be fully operating yet.

A nice little new hotel. The staff were very friendly, and the room and bathroom were modern, comfortable, and clean. We only had breakfast there. It was fine and European-style, since Sri Lankan breakfast has to be ordered the evening before.

The rooms were big, quite nice, and clean, with really nice bathrooms. But during our three-day stay there was no room cleaning, and a lot of items on the menu weren’t available.

The staff were amazing and helped us relax, including printing our boarding tickets and arranging transport to the airport. Our room was very clean, and the bed was the best we had during our three-week trip. The hotel was very nice, and you should try the delicious Kottu.

The owners were kind, friendly, and flexible, and seemed to understand what guests were dealing with. The staff were helpful and did a great job too. Our room was spacious, clean, and tidy, and breakfast tasted great. We’re really looking forward to going back, and I’d recommend it to anyone.
