Lalith and Pushpa made the stay feel like visiting family. They were lovely and often thought ahead to help with whatever we needed. The second-floor apartment was clean, with working aircons, two spacious bedrooms and a small kitchen stocked well enough for breakfast. The price was VERY competitive, too. If you're after somewhere quiet and peaceful, I can recommend Jungle Holiday Home. I still can't pick whether I liked the hosts, the apartment or the location best.

The only downside was noise and shouting from people at the nearby Moloko bar, so bring earplugs. It wasn't the accommodation's fault, though, and the place itself was tidy and great. Breakfasts were really tasty, the owner was helpful when we asked about trips, and his wife was so, so nice. They cleaned our room twice during our two-week stay. 10/10.

We'd be happy to stay here again. The beach is about 100 metres away, and there's a restaurant with a bar right next to the house. The apartment has useful things for a stay, including AC, a fridge and an oven. It's set in a lovely garden with bananas, mangos and palms, and you wake to birds and jungle sounds. The owner and his wife are friendly and helpful; they can make a lovely breakfast or suggest interesting places to see. Bohoma Sthuthi!

A really awful stay. The room smelled musty, there were lots of mosquitoes and no net. The old bathroom wasn't clean, and its door wouldn't shut. Out back, the owners kept two dogs on short chains. They looked to be in terrible condition, with no shade or drinking bowl, underfed and in urgent need of medical care. The owners seemed focused on money, asking for payment just five minutes after check-in. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The landlords were really kind, and he gave us useful tips on what to see and where to go. Breakfast and coffee were good, and the rooms were clean. The beach is 500 metres away, with a beautiful stretch of sand and the possibility of surfing. I liked the place.
