Our sea-facing room made the stay even better, and the simple English breakfast was filling. Main Reef Guest House is right on Hikkaduwa Beach, with friendly hosts and staff and delicious food at the on-site restaurant. It was easy to explore nearby places on foot, and we’d eagerly return. The beachfront setting, welcoming service, and convenient location left us with a lovely impression. The only drawback was that staff could have responded faster when we needed towels changed. Apart from that small issue, the stay was enjoyable, and the positives far outweighed the inconvenience. Main Reef Guest House is still an easy choice for a beachfront visit.

The beachside seating made the meal even better, and the service and drinks were lovely too. The vegetarian Sri Lankan curry and rice was excellent. Best wishes to the Main Reef team!
