I really liked this place for a quiet break and remote work. The furniture is in good condition, everything works, and the air conditioners are serviced regularly. The hostess is very welcoming, often checking what else she can do to help. She makes good, inexpensive breakfasts and can prepare other national food if you ask. It's a great location if you don't want to overpay and don't mind a 5-minute walk to a gorgeous beach. I recommend it.

The owner, Shirani, is incredibly warm and responsive. Any questions that came up were sorted out immediately. She even bought a microwave for the shared kitchen after my neighbors, a family with children, said it was inconvenient to heat food on the stove. A couple of days later, it was there. That's real care and service! The villa has its own small, cozy grounds, and the shared kitchen has all the equipment needed. It's only 3 minutes from the ocean and the highway with all the shops, yet it's QUIET!!! There's a train line nearby, and trains pass several times a day, but they don't disturb you. The room was very clean and spacious, with a good mattress and linens. The air conditioning and fan worked, and the bathroom had a sink, toilet, bidet, and shower. Hot water was steady, with no interruptions during the two weeks I lived there. If you've been to Sri Lanka, you'll appreciate this level of service!)) And it was all very reasonably priced. My room was 5,000 rupees (about 1,700 rubles). My roommates were a family with children, and we agreed we'd definitely stay here if we go to Sri Lanka again. 🤗👍 I can recommend it with a clear conscience.
