I liked how spacious the room was, and the balcony was great. The staff were very service minded, and the friendly, playful dogs were adorable. The garden is lush and clearly well cared for. It’s easy to reach the beach, little shops and restaurants, while Hikkaduwa town is only 2-3 kilometres away. Thambili Cafe is an easy walk across the road on the beach, and the food there is very good. You can walk along the road or catch a tuk tuk. The southern train passes fairly close, but it didn’t bother me.

It’s really quiet here, and the yoga rooms and provided mats make it a nice place to unwind. Breakfast isn’t served on the property, but there are plenty of good places to eat nearby. Their beachside Thambili Cafe is a lovely spot with tasty food, about a five minute walk away. The garden is beautifully kept and full of flowers, with friendly dogs adding to the welcoming feel. The owner is professional, and the staff are kind, attentive and helpful. They gave us fresh coconut water on arrival, which was such a refreshing welcome. A calm, well-run place I’d recommend for a peaceful getaway.

The owner also runs a restaurant on the beach, and the prices there are very reasonable. The guest house has two cute, cuddly, playful dogs, with another at the restaurant. The staff were friendly, helpful and happy to accommodate us. The place itself is quiet, lush and relaxing.

There’s a lovely cafe and BBQ on the beach just across the road. The staff here were friendly, caring, attentive and easy to chat with. I can’t fault the place.
