I spent about a month at this villa. It’s a peaceful place in the jungle, with birds, squirrels, and monkeys around. If you don’t scare them, you can watch and feed them. The family is warm, friendly, and lovely. They helped with all my errands, and I wouldn’t have managed without them. Inside, everything is there down to the small things: dishes, appliances, bathroom supplies, laundry detergent, and a washing machine. It’s tidy and clean, and they’ll clean as often as you like. There’s a huge bed, plus a second, smaller guest bed in a separate area. The hot shower has good pressure, which is rare in Asia. It’s also handy to get a Dialog SIM card, with unlimited data for about 500R ($7). It gets good reception everywhere. You can share the WiFi, and incoming calls and texts are free. You need to switch on the “WiFi calling” feature on your phone, which is Android only. I recommend this place for living.
