We were welcomed warmly, and any requests were handled quickly. The beds were comfortable, and both the rooms and bathrooms were clean. It’s in a quiet area near Sigiriya rock, so we slept well. I’d recommend it for anyone visiting Sigiriya or nearby areas.

The homemade food was delicious, and the calm surroundings were great for unwinding. From the west side of the hotel, you can enjoy a peaceful lake view and watch the sunset. It’s close to the main road, and Sigiriya Rock and Pidurangala Rock are just a few kilometers away. The hotel felt safe, and the rooms were spacious, neat, clean, and had everything working properly. Excellent experience.

The owner was friendly and made sure the service was top-notch, and the food was delicious. It’s a calm, pleasant place with rooms that have the amenities you'd expect from a star-class hotel, and it’s excellent value for money. Truly a hidden gem in Dambulla, worth every penny. I highly recommend calling directly to book.

The inside of the room was great, and the hot water and AC worked fine, though the power tripped a couple of times overnight. The rest of our experience was a letdown. We booked through Booking.com after confirming the price and payment, but on arrival there were no lights or power, and the room we had booked wasn't even there. This is a homestay run by an elderly couple, not a hotel. We were given a higher-priced room after negotiating, and the property was under construction with no signs on the premises. It is a quaint, quiet place, but breakfast was supposed to be included and I was charged separately after eating the next morning. We were also charged for two water bottles. The elderly owner uncle held my passport at check-in and didn't return it until the bill was paid after breakfast the next day. Even then, after everything had been paid, he asked for another 2000 Srilankan Rupees for some reason. The extra charges and lack of honesty were uncalled for and inconvenient. If you book, call to confirm pricing, since they don't honor prices from Booking.com or other portals. I expected a hospitable stay after reading the reviews, but we didn't get that. Maybe locals like it here, but my wife and I, as foreigners, didn't have the hospitality or experience we expected.
