We stayed two days with our family at White Eagle Hotel. The family who owns it welcomed us warmly and did everything they could to make the visit comfortable and memorable. They were the sweetest, and we really enjoyed the good breakfasts and the delicious dinner we had there. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, and the hotel grounds had a lovely garden full of beautiful flowers. It’s also well located, close to Sigiriya and the Cave Temples.

The food was scrumptious 😋😋. If you need anything for lunch or dinner, contact the owner. He’s very kind-hearted and will arrange what you need to fill your tummy.

A very local place with a personal feel. We paid 6000 SL rup. per room per night as foreigners. Breakfast was generous and nicely presented. We stayed one night and had no problems.
