The three guys caring for the villa were so kind and helpful that we decided to stay. Our room was clean, the food was nice, and the place itself was comfortable and relaxing. We booked through MakeMyTrip because it cost less than paying directly at the hotel, but they didn’t give us the room we wanted. We talked to the owner, who wasn’t friendly or helpful at all. When we asked about a refund, he clearly said no.

The pool was relaxing and well maintained, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. I’d rate both the location and ambiance 9/10. The food was tasty, 7/10, though it could use more variety. Staff were friendly and helpful, 8/10, but the service could improve a little. Overall I had a very good stay, would recommend the hotel, and would stay again.

Breakfast was fresh, filling, and delicious each morning, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Mango Tree Hill has a peaceful feel and made for a lovely, relaxed getaway. The AC could work better, especially during the hotter hours, but it was still a warm, homely stay in Bentota and great value for money.

The rooms were really good, and the pool was well maintained. The location was okay. There aren’t many vegetarian food choices, but Uber or a pickup can be booked easily.
